Colorado Mountain School
Colorado Mountain School is a professional mountain guide service based out of Boulder and Estes Park, Colorado. CMS, under various names, has been guiding continuously in Colorado since 1877, and has been Rocky Mountain National Park’s exclusive technical climbing concessionaire since the Park’s creation in 1915. Today, CMS is the largest guide service in Colorado and has more AMGA certified guides than any other guide service in the state. CMS has developed the most complete outdoor climbing curriculum in the United States. Their offerings range from half-day outings to multi-day courses and expeditions. In addition, they guide rock, ice and mountaineering throughout the American West and internationally. Their Mission is to provide unparalleled customer service and world class climbing and skiing instruction, while setting the standard in professional guiding.
